How many times???

How many times have you sat and struggled over your bills? How many of you have stressed yourselves to the point of getting physically sick because of all the stress and worry you have that comes with paying your bills? I bet that every one of you sat there and shook your head yes, because you have been there. Right? With the economy the way it is right now. And the unemployment rate as high as it is. One can't help but think about it. Stress over it. If you are anything like me, you have probably done the same thing I have. Sat and cried because you have no idea how you are going to manage to get all your bills paid and still live. So, when we see a situation happen, that could have been prevented, we get a bit irritated. How about when you see someone who has been careless, and just plain uncaring and indifferent about it...file Chapter 7 bankruptcy? Not a clear enough picture yet? How about this: You see a family of 7, 2 adults and 5 children. The parents bring in six figure incomes and sometimes way above that. They have foreclosure after foreclosure. Repo after repo. Cruises, expensive clothes, furniture. Run up medical bills with no intention of ever paying them. How about running up credit cards and other bills...with NO intention of ever paying them? They intentionally run up as much debt as they can, so that they qualify for a Chapter 7 versus a chapter 13. See the picture that has been painted here?
Yep, you guessed it. There are actually people out there that do this type of thing intentionally. Not only that, but said people go so far as to hide assets, accounts, purchases and money from the court. It's infuriating isn't it? Make you grind your teeth and want to just reach out and smack someone? That's what I thought. It is people like this, that drive the prices up. That drive the cost of living up. They cause taxes to raise in order to cover what they got but didn't pay for. These same people are often the ones who are the first to throw tantrums about how others are "haters" and "naysayers". They are often the first to cast judgement and scream about how unfairly they are being treated and/or judged. The only option we have is to voice our dislike for it. Be the voice that is heard. But don't allow it to color your life for you. Don't allow it to take hold and create such intense hatred or dislike, that you become as bitter as they are. Don't allow it to change who YOU are.

My daddy has always had a saying that he repeats every day. " Be the change you want to see in the world. Be the change that you want to see in others. Be the change that makes a difference and leaves a lasting impression on those who come into your life. Be the change you seek."

Warmest thoughts,
